Hey all,  Brad and the staff are all now home and we thank the Lord for another great season.  We still have some guests to speak with and post their fishing reports but we also wanted to talk about next year.  We are predicting an awesome spring fishery for trophy rainbow trout.  This forcast is based on facts and data collected this summer.  We just had a record sun of salmon,  the largest in the last decade at least.  Our drainage and surrounding area as you know is totally dependant on the sockeye run.  The last four years plus we have had above average runs of salmon.  This year was a record run as we have stated.  There will be several very large food sources in the rivers systems next June.  Starting with the sockeye fry that will hatch out of the gravel of the river bottoms.  Also the salmon smolt that will migrate to the ocean will be in the millions as last years salmon run was also way above average.  This years expired salmon now litter the whole drainge by the millions.  That will be the third main source of food for the rainbows next spring.  Rainbow trout spawn in the spring as most of you well know.  The spawning habitat in our drainage is perfect will clear water and gravel bottoms.  The post spawn rainbows are fun to catch to be sure but something else will happen as well.  Something that always happens after a big salmon run time and time again.  Giant rainbow trout will be lured out of the lake into the river systems to feast on salmon fry, smolt and flesh.  This is factual based on the size of the salmon run.  Water levels are typically best mid to late June.  Next June will be a paradise for the angler chasing giant rainbows on the fly rod.  Articulated streamers and flesh flies will be the ticket.  Our space is limited so if you are interested in hearing more please call our toll free number and speak with Brad or myself.  We will have more about this next week.  Thanks for checking in and have a blessed day.  Sincerely Mark and Brad.  877 850 5858.
