Hey all, we got an e-mail from a guest this mourning and I spoke with another just now. Both were there last week. Some very excited anglers. Both wanted to be put on our reference list. Perfect weather and river conditions. Lots of big rainbows. Anglers caught anywhere from 50-100 rainbows a day! You can quote me on that. In fact after reading this call the toll free number (877 850 5858) and we will put you in touch with the guests that gave us this report. The fish were heavy. Rainbows that were 27 plus inches had girths to fifteen inches. We floated a river in Katmai Park last week and one of the guests said they had their best day ever. In fact both guests I spoke with today said it was their best trip ever! Several guest are getting replica mounts of their big rainbows to remember their trip.  One of our guests caught 50 plus rainbows his first day while another caught 70 plus fish his first day. (Bob and Kenny) Lee broke his personal best day by landing an astounding 100 rainbow trout. Hundreds of trophy rainbows were caught last week. Comments were an amazing fishing trip to nailed em! Some days anglers were down to short sleeves. We floated rivers in both Katmai Park and the iliamna drainage. All anglers have re booked for next year. We have a group of eight there now and will report an that next week. Currently the weather and river conditions are perfect and the salmon are mostly gone and the rainbows are mostly in!  Of course the were more giant fish lost, some real heart breakers but that is part of the game. But with numbers like that there is not much pain. Nothing gets you over your last fish like your next fish! In short we currently have the best trophy rainbow trout fishing in the world! I just don’t see how it could get any better. Our Sept will be full shortly for 2011. Check in next week and we will give you another fresh fish fishing report. A blessed day to all. Sincerely Mark. 877 850 5858. P.S. Will post pictures as we get them.
