Hey all, we just received an e-mail from a long time guest and friend who fished trophy rainbows last week. Here it is word for word. Hi Mark, I’m reporting in. The fishing was awesome this week. I caught 180 Rainbows or more to 27 inches. 27 inches is the largest I have landed so far. I have caught many, many rainbows to 25 plus inches. The weather is good. At first the bigger rainbows were kicking my but and I had trouble landing them. I am still having some trouble landing the bigger fish but I am kicking their but more often now. This first week was everything I imagined and more. Hope all is well, Neil. Not a bad report! Neil is a long time guest and friend of ours. He is now a retired school teacher. This is his first trip with us in Sept. He is there for two weeks! We will have a report on his second week when he is finished. The salmon are expiring in large numbers by the day now and the rainbow fishing just keeps getting better and better. We look forward to Neils next report with great anticipation. He is sharp now and we believe he will catch more fish and land some of the larger ones. We are expecting him to break the 30 inch mark. We have not spoken with the other guests yet but will post a report as soon as we hear from them. We are open through the end of the month and expect to break some lodge records. Will keep you posted! Have a blessed day all, Mark. 877 850 5858.
